For the love of God, people: thank God we have Easter
Good Son Day and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Live from New York, it's Friday Night Live! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PEOPLE: THANK GOD WE HAVE EASTER Recently, at volunteer community meeting where one of the participants informed us of his activities and how he was working with people in the community. He assigned some arduous tasks for community members to complete on 4/8 and 4/9. I politely stated, "Are aware that is a holiday weekend for many of community members?" He replied, "What holiday?" At that point, many participants chimed in "EASTER!". His response, "Oh, well that tells how long it has been since I attended church, ha!" Sometimes you have to chuckle. He was a little embarrassed, but honest. If you Google the most celebrated holidays in the US, Christmas, New Years Eve, and Halloween vie for the top two spots.
