YEAH, I SEE THE RESEMBLANCE

Good Son-Day!!! Parched Land, T hirst Quenched Jayden's 16th YEAH, I SEE THE RESEMBLANCE We are still celebrating the Pentecost season.  Last week, the existence of God was covered.  God Himself exists in the form of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; which I will cover briefly in the future. Today, your existence will be covered.  Not the physical, which you can clearly see because of its tangibility. Instead, let’s cover your spirit. Remember in Sunday school when the kindly Sunday school teacher taught you that the LORD GOD formed a man. HE made man out of the dust of the ground. God breathed the breath of life into him. And the man became a living person. Genesis 2:7 What was that breath?  Breath of God is far more than the physical exchange of air in and out of the lungs. It is one of the most profound symbols in scripture.  HIS breath is HIS spirit. Job 32:8, It is the SPIRIT in man, the breath from God All-Mighty. The word “spirit” derives from the word “breath,” (spiritus in La

THE REAL DEAL

Good Son-Day!!! Desert Sisters The Real Deal Every Sunday, this space is reserved to accentuate the goodness and God, the splendor of being His child, and to celebrate His majesty. A topic that has not been addressed is God’s existence.  Much of what is written is for naught, if there is not a core belief God exists.  For eons, His existence has been hotly debated.  There are college courses debating His existence.  Philosophy classes either affirm His existence or the contrary.  Today, the Word of God will be used to affirm . . . “His I Am that I Am” (1) because “In the very beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. He was God in the beginning.  All things were made through Him.  Nothing that has been made was made without Him.  Life was in Him, and that life was the light for all people. (2) Exodus 3:14 John 1:1-2 I digress for a quick moment here. The first short and simple passage is deeply profound and the second cements Christ and His Word and why I always base everythi

LE CADEAU SYMBOLISANT LA LIBERTÉ

Good Son-Day!!!! Happy Birthday Violet FYI - This video was produced entirely on my iPhone with the Capcut app. LE CADEAU SYMBOLISANT LA LIBERTÉ – given content below a French title is most appropriate.  Google it. This video is the last in our series on Manhattan attractions.  In terms of fun U.S. cities to visit NYC ranks second to Washington D.C.  A close second to NYC is the San Francisco Bay area and then Los Angeles.  We could have seen more attractions if we had more time.   Keep in mind, we were in Manhattan just two full days. The piece de resistance was our boat tour around the Statute of Liberty and Lower Manhattan.    My bride gave me “the wife stink-eye look” because I attended multiple meetings via MS Teams while I was there. One of the meetings I participated in was when we were eating lunch in the middle of Times Square.  I understand I have a sister who is just like me.  Hey, I can do this now, work in other states short term.  I love the flexibility and freedom to d

Good Son Day and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Live from New York, it's Friday Night Live! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PEOPLE:  THANK GOD WE HAVE EASTER Recently,  at volunteer community meeting where one of the participants informed us of his activities and how he was working with people in the community.  He assigned some arduous tasks for community members to complete on 4/8 and 4/9.  I politely stated, "Are aware that is a holiday weekend for many of community members?" He replied, "What holiday?"  At that point, many participants chimed in "EASTER!".  His response, "Oh, well that tells how long it has been since I attended church, ha!" Sometimes you have to chuckle.  He was a little embarrassed, but honest. If you Google the most celebrated holidays in the US, Christmas, New Years Eve, and Halloween vie for the top two spots.  Easter is rarely mentioned in any of the top ten lists out there. I will never take for granted Jesus Chris
