What's It All About?

Image
It is a Good Son-Day Indeed MoonHead What's It All About? One of my "StrengthsFinders" strengths is kind of nerdy. It is "Learner", a person who has a great desire to learn and wants to continuously improve. Many of my "follows" on IG are DIYs or "learn how to do better"  sites.  I must follow at  least 20 sites on IPhone photography and videography alone. Even though I am not a hoof or feather carnivore, I love the art of smoking food even though I will not eat the meat I smoke (save seafood)).  I am dependent on my critics, BJ and Jo for critique of my work.  I have watched a million episodes of BBQ shows like BBQ Pitmasters, BBQ USA, BBQ Brawl, World of Flavor with Big Moe Cason to name a few. I love their success in the art.  What can I glean from them that will bring my smoking skillset from not palatable to open your own restaurant? Honestly, my first iterations of smoking food were awful.  Everything tasted either too smoky or like ham...

Confidence and Deeper Levels of Confidence - Adoration

(Every day is a . . . )  Good Son-Day!!! Prepping for April's Quarry Confidence and Deeper Levels of Confidence - Adoration Next Sunday, we will have the honor and pleasure of celebrating the start of "Passion Week".  I think we are all familiar with the events of that week. Seriously, For Real!!!

Happy Son-Day!!! Wicked Walleye Before I get started, I want to acknowledge that the world will miss the love and generosity of Mother Nancy Sorrell who passed this last week.  She was genuinely a remarkable saint who loved and people.  She always put forth her best on anything she did.  We will miss her now, but she her later for sure. Seriously, For Real??!!!  Now some meanderings.  Jo and I finally returned to Lifetime Fitness after a two-year absence due to the pandemic.  We are both conscious of clean hands, not touching our faces, and distance from others while working out. New to our routine is steps and swimming as ways of conserving and preserving our joints.  A few weeks back, Alex and I were reminiscing fondly about our Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer years at Theodore Wirth Lake.  That is when swimming was fun.   The ultimate goal for all "cool" kids at that the beach was to swim out to the deep-water platform.  That is when yo...
