Last week, I noted that praise demands a sacrifice meaning you give God your heartfelt self regardless of how you feel.   Hebrews 13:15-16 “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of my lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Today the focus is on what happens to us when you praise.   I call this Heavenly Bennies (i.e., benefits). Praises changes our personality.   It changes our focus from a earthly perspective to a Christ like one, otherwise known as Christian which means Christ-like.   Praise puts us in a humble mode.   Songs such as, “I Surrender All”, puts Christ at the helm of our lives.   We become more pliable and receptive to His will.
