Good Son-Day!!! Our Praise DNA on Display This was not the original video for this week, but our adventures are also about people.  Today we engaged with some wonderful people Next time,"Tee Time" A Simple Decision Tree for the Heavy Light stuff to start off with.  First, Go see, "The Woman King", it is a good movie, but not great.  Actually, the trailers for the upcoming movies “Devotion” and “Till” appear to have more substance and intrigue.  The three movies are all heavy history stories.  we saw "The Woman King" at the Coon Rapids AMC.  There is an adage of “too much of a good thing”.  The theatre has Lazy Boy chairs for seating. Jo and I saw the movie with another couple.  At some point in the movie, the couple got so comfortable they fell asleep.  I had to go to the restroom and was trapped in my seat because all the seats in my row had the leg rests fully extended.  Note to self, next movie, sit in an end seat. Now the heavy stuff, this week I had

Happy Son-Day! Gridiron Action from "K" to College Timeliness Sublime Precision Timing  Video In the video above, I was astounded by the simple design, but complex workings of the performing sculpture's  movements.  Clearly, it does not take much to amaze me.  I would love to see the machinery underwater that is putting the sculpture in motion, but I can't.  Whatever it is I am satisfied in its end results.  A thing of beauty. God's timing in your life is perfect, it's sublime (i.e., a thing of excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe).  For those who look to Him for guidance, have faith He will do it, and wait patiently, I confidently say to you God will deliver on time better than FedEx or Amazon. Micah 7:7  But as for me, I will look to the Lord I will wait for the God of my salvation My God will hear me. I have an insurance agent I semi-agent trust he is looking out after my best interest, but there have been times over the ye

Jo's Suggestion

Happy Son-Day!!!   Coming Right at You   Jo’s Suggestion Today I was going to send a message one of the attributes of God, but while sitting church this morning listening to the sermon, Jo leans over to me and said to do a message on prayer, which happened to be the topic of the sermon. I am heeding her recommendation.   A word of encouragement on prayer is always timely. I will begin by speaking the name of Jesus over my family. He brings power, love, life and healing. I invoke His name again for deliverance from all strongholds and calamities.   I call on His Name again to bring relief from all pain and sickness.     Manifest yourself in that breakthrough we need.   I say the name of Jesus to bring us guidance and favor in everything we do and encounter. I ask the Lord to soften our hearts to hear His voice as He speaks to us because He always hears and we need to reciprocate.   As we listen renew our bodies, vigor, and outlook to serve in a manor fitting of the King

Happy Labor Day And may the Son-shine on you this day  as He does everyday  Kids, Cuz's & 250K Run the Race with Endurance Tony Gaskins is a motivational speaker who stated the following, “Love did not hurt you.   Someone who does not know how to love you hurt you. Don’t confuse the two”.   There are so many applications of this statement. I just want to follow behind and state this applies to those who the clerical collar.   Those who are entrusted to ministry positions must take special care not to injure their flock.   Every day, I see in the paper where a minister has made mistakes that leave a mark on the congregation.     A recently released movie, “Honk for Jesus, Save Your Soul” starring Regina Hall and Sterling K Brown is a satire about a dysfunctional pastor and first lady.   It’s another of many Hollywood shots at the church.   It saddens me that the church has provided enough material for these kinds of movies to be produced. As you know the word min
