Good Son-Day!!! Sweet Land of Liberty Freedom Focus, Liberty Lived On June 17,Jo and I participated in a parade commemorating our new national holiday, Juneteenth, in Minneapolis.  We also attended the Brooklyn Park Juneteenth event for a few minutes. After all of the day’s festivities, I was exhausted upon arriving home. I flipped on the TV and caught a few minutes of “Prince of Egypt”.  The story of Moses leading enslaved people to freedom resonates with me.    Moses was a free man when he returned to Egypt. But in his eyes there was not true freedom until all of his people were free.  You know the rest of the wonderful and exciting story. Juneteenth is of course a celebration of freedom for all people.  With Independence day just around the corner you will see more emphasis on TV and print about our democracy and freedom.  We are very protective of our liberty privileges.  We will fight to get them and fight to keep them.   Good Son-Day!!!! The Charm City Wayfarers The Great Exhortation to Praise!!! From the rising of the sun to its going down. The Lord’s name is to be praised. Hebrews 13:15 Does the LORD really want us to be praising every minute of the day?  No, but HE does want us to sustain a lifestyle of praise.  Note: the Lord’s name is to be greatly to be praised, for HIS glorious works of creation and divine providence. What is the great call? What is He exhorting/urging us to do? From the passages above you can see the LORD is expecting us to be mindful that HE is always working on our behalf and some acknowledg

Good Son-Day!!!! Old Virginny Road Dabaq דֶבֶק, κόλλα My— Brother Keeper As I am pulling into the Hennepin County Government parking ramp, I receive a call from Dr. Jill’s eldest son, Alex; you see I have two siblings who are much older than me.  He begins the conversation with his usual charming greeting.  He asked me if I received the email.  I answer, yes indeed I did. It was a quick conversation because I was entering the bowels of the building-------- that is two floors underneath the ground level. The email he sent this week was marvelously crafted and undoubtedly well received by all.  His message like many of his other messages was another act of selflessness, binding, and uniting the Jackson family.   It hit me then, I never acknowledged our family patriarch in a deserving way.  Here is my small attempt and probably not enough. Mr. Alex Maurice Jackson. Here is a declaration (a formal or explicit statement or announcement) to my brother; I see you.  I feel your heart; I sen
