There is Always Hope in Christ
GOOD SON-DAY!
October Fling
There is Always Hope
in Christ
"Worship the LORD your God, and His blessing will be on
your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you." Exodus
23:25
I open with that scripture to declare the authority God has
over disease and sickness. I will bolster it with this passage, “Heal me, O
Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I
praise." Jeremiah 17:14. I want you
to have comfort in the knowledge that you may turn to God for any kind of help
including healing.
Last night, as I was perusing social media notifications, I
was genuinely moved by my sister’s Facebook posting about my niece. The core of her message was about the courage
and perseverance my niece displayed during a time physical crisis. It was about
how my niece triumphed over the stacked odds.
This week, my sister was battling with some critical health
procedures. Those in knowledge were most assuredly praying for the success of
the procedure. She is recovering at home
now. And this morning, I learn one Jo’s nieces was experiencing some health
issues.
There is an old say out there that goes, “Time and health
are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have
been depleted. It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and
silver. When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is
lost; when character is lost, all is lost.
No despair here because there is always hope in Christ and hope
in prayer. The unfailing Word of God will continue to be spoken over our
families. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him
each time. For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous." Psalms
34:10-20. And because you are a praying family, "Is anyone among you sick?
Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with
oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick
person well; the Lord will raise them up.” James 5:13-15.
To each person, I wrote about and to those I do not know
about, know that we all stand in agreement to your speedy recovery. Amen.

Lyrics
Solo
Cast all your
cares, upon the Lord
Cast all your
cares, up - on the Lord,
For He cares
for you,
And He knows
what you're going through,
Why don't you
cast all your cares upon the Lord.
All
Cast all your
cares, upon the Lord
Cast all your
cares, up - on the Lord,
For He cares
for you,
And He knows
what you're going through,
Why don't you
cast all your cares upon the Lord. /2X

When troubles
come, call Him.
When sickness
comes, call Him
When trials
come, call Him
When heartache
comes, Call Him
Call Him, Call
Him
For He cares
for you.
And He knows
what you're going through
Why don't you
cast all your cares upon the Lord.
When troubles
come, call Him.
When trials
comes, call Him
When sickness
come, call Him
When heartache
comes, Call Him
Call Him, Call
Him
Tell me what is
His name, Jesus,
What's His
name, Jesus
Somebody lift
your hands and call His name, Jesus
Somebody say
Jesus, Jesus
For He cares for you.
And He knows what you're going
through
Why don't you cast all your cares
Why don't you cast all your cares
Why don't you cast all your cares
Why don't you cast all your cares
Why don't you cast all your cares upon the Lord
