Given the opportunity, the Easter season can be just as festive as Christmas.  What is tremendously rewarding about the season is the emphasis put on the passion of our Lord for us. Our natural inclination is to reciprocate.


You say, I really want to serve Him, but the lifestyle required is highly regulative, that is too hard. His expectations too demanding and and restrictive.  This message is not about rules or about what you cannot do.


Instead it is about what you should do and I guarantee you will not regret it.  Plus it’s Chrestos, A word Christ used to say following me is easy.


Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  

Follow My teachings and learn from Me.  I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls. 

Serving Me is EASY, and My load is light.”

During your 1:1 with God show him your passion. Love Him more than a pineapple upside cake; a billion dollar lottery win; a 11 ounce pothouse steak, a walk on Waikiki beach; a two hour session at the spa.  


Do this for the love of God!

 Good Son-Day - The Start of  Something New Ice Creameisters! Live Roses The day after Christmas, I got a call from a former co-worker I had connected with for about a year or so. I started the conversation by asking about her grandchild and two daughters. I proceeded to ask her how her husband was doing and got an unexpected quick but poignant answer: "Oh, he's doing fine; we're getting a divorce."  Wait, what! This couple was married for 30-plus years.  The husband is retired. Nice home in the burbs,  Both children are college grads.  Empty nesters. The American Dream. What happened? Recently, I sat in on a conversation with some employees outside one of our buildings.  The conversation turned to a Minneapolis suburb called "Blaine".  They talked about the vivid dichotomy between the impoverished trailer parks and the lavish homes in the new developments.  I then cringed when I heard them refer to the people residing in the trailer homes as "White Trailer Trash" and this was uttered by a person of the same color.
