Ha! 99% of the WCCO news interview was cut and left on the production room floor. Also, the Timberwolf interviewer stated they do not like to openly report their charity work. Yet, this interview was aired on local news. Here is the link:

Hope Springs Eternal
The phrase "Hope springs eternal" was coined by poet Alexander Pope in his 1732 work "An Essay on Man: Epistle I". The full phrase is "Hope springs eternal in every human breast". It reflects the idea that hope is a powerful force that persists in people, even in difficult circumstances.
You are thinking, hmmm, kind of nerdy Bobby. My response is yes. It is one of my coping mechanisms to deal with winter. Our last 45-degree day was November 19. That is 95 days of sub-40-degree weather. Ah, but to quote Jesse Jackson, keep hope alive. 40-degree temperatures have awoken and begin tomorrow. Hope springs eternal.
Here is my weather and geography lesson that helps me keep perspective. Today, I only wish to be in Las Vegas due to the mild temperature and to see the new "Sphere". Once I see the Sphere, I want to be in Santa Cruz for the Redwood trees to see surfers on the Pacific Ocean.
Today, Chicago is colder than Minneapolis. Lake Michigan wind effect.
The average high temperature for Minneapolis this time of year is 35 degrees and today's (February 22) high is 35 degrees.
Average high today of other cities of note where family are located (FYI - lower latitude numbers means the city is closer to the Equator or further south):
Chicago, Illinois, high today 34, avg 32, located inland, on Lake Michigan, latitude 41
Palmyra Missouri, high today 40, avg 37, located inland, not near a large body of water, latitude 39
Atlanta Georgia, high today 53, avg 60, located in the South, latitude 33
Las Vegas, Nevada, high today 67, avg 68, located in the South, latitude 36
Others cities located on the same latitude (45 N) as Minneapolis (FYI - large bodies of water bring warm currents, with the exception of Lake Michigan:
Toronto Canada, high today 28, avg 28, located inland, not near a large body of water
Turin, Italy, high today 48, avg 47 located inland, not near a large body of water
Portland, Oregon, high today 57, avg 47, located near a large body of water
Athens, Greece, high today 45, avg 52, located near a large body of water
Bordeau, France, high today 60, avg 57, located near a large body of water
My brother-in-law speaks fondly of spring because it brings new hope and refreshment. Hope from a biblical standpoint is being sure in God Promises. It is strongly anticipating great outcomes from following God's guidance.
Romans 15:13
God is the one who causes us to hope for good things. I pray that God will bless you very much. I pray that He will cause you to be happy and to have peace in your minds. He will do this because you believe in Him. As a result, God's Holy Spirit will make you strong with His power, so that you hope even more certainly.
Again, it is all about sharing the living hope you have in Christ with others. Be selfless like Paul! He was passionate about sharing hope, as we should be.
Colossians 1:25-27
25 I serve the church. God appointed me to bring the complete word of God to you. 26 That word contains the mystery that has been hidden for many ages. But now it has been made known to the Lord’s people. 27 God has chosen to make known to them the glorious riches of that mystery. He has made it known among the Gentiles. And here is what it is. Christ is in you. He is your hope of glory.
Hope is invigorating and salubrious (Ha. I am messing with you now with a needless big word. I pulled this from Reader's Digest. Have fun looking it up).
Song of the Week - Hallelujah! Sing a New Song to GOD. Sing HIS praise in the assembly of godly people. Psalm 149:1.

Lyrics
I had enough heartache and enough headache
I've had so many ups and downs
Don't know how much more I can take
See, I decided that I cried my last tears yesterday
Either I'm gon' trust ya, or I may as well walk away
'Cause stressin' don't make it better
Don't make it better, no way, oh, Lord
See I decided, oh, that I cried my last tears yesterday, yeah, yeah
Yesterday (yesterday), ooh, yesterday (yesterday)
Oh, I decided I'm gonna put my trust in You
Oh, yeah (yesterday), yesterday (yesterday)
Oh, I realized that You will bring me through
There ain't nothing that's too hard for my God, no
If there's any problems that I have
He's greater than them all
Lord knows I decided, oh, Lord (Lord, I decided)
That I cried my last tear yesterday (yesterday)
Oh, Lord, yesterday (yesterday)
Leave it all behind in yesterday (yesterday)
I decided that I'm gonna put my trust in You
Ooh, (yesterday) yesterday (yesterday)
I realized that You would bring me through
There ain't nothin' that's too hard for my God
If there's any problems that I have
He's greater than them all
So I decided that I cried my last, my last tear yesterday
